Given that El Cid passed by very close to here, we have created a homage to depict the great Burgos hero: Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar
The handcrafted decoration recreates the painted wood trimmings typical in Castilian palaces along with an imposing chimney adorned with the famous El Cid sword: La Tizona which takes us back to the era when he started his crusade.
The shower area is decorated with images from nature areas in Castile.
The Cid route passes close by us as it is believed to be in Castillejo de Robledo where El Cid´s daughters were so badly treated by their husbands. They were rescued by his nephew Feliz Muñoz and taken to San Esteban to recover from their wounds.
